The soul always has the best answers for life

While most people strive and despair to have money and to accumulate material wealth, very few worry about developing their spiritual wealth; and especially, to nourish the soul. Few strive to understand that it is the human soul. In many contemporary cultures in the oral tradition, it is said that human beings have several souls (sometimes as many as seven) located in different parts of the body, each with different functions. For the Greeks the soul was divine and immortal, source of rationality. For other cultures, disease was conceived of as the loss of the soul, and even witches could steal the soul or the spirits of evil kidnap it.

Each soul is individual. Human beings already have a soul when they are formed in their mother's womb, which is why the church condemns abortion: it is killing a person with a soul that does not belong to the person but is a gift that must be taken care of temporarily. The soul is endowed with memory, energy and reason, so most ancient philosophers agreed that it was immortal.

The soul, when the body dies, separates and evolves to a higher plane, according to some religions is judged by the works of the person, and if saved or condemned, will receive the reward or punishment in an extraterrestrial life.

But how can we feed the soul? Reading a good book, studying, learning to philosophize, or simply loving?

When we are children we are pure by nature. The soul of a child is nourished by the love of his parents and relatives, in reality love is the first code to configure the soul, what the child learns from life will be in the same magnitude of the love he receives, however, there are children who receive little love from their parents, perhaps mistreatment and suffering, and therefore, can he stop developing the most beautiful auras and souls that illuminate the life of a human being?

Not for that, no, they don't stop learning about love. Perhaps that abused child is learning to hate the world, but if that child gifted with reason and talents, like every human being, watches closely as other children are kissed and loved by their parents, that child knows that he does not have that same quality of love, yet he learns to discern that he can receive it from others who are willing to love and help others.

It is our mind and experiences that make up the human soul. We can nourish the soul with religion, knowledge, and wisdom, but it is the executions of our experiences that determine their degree of development. Whether that person will have a noble soul or a black soul. Knowledge alone does not determine a person's soul. A person can be very cultured but he can have the beast inside him trying to show himself for what he is and make a mess of humanity.
