Fullcoverbetting's Worldcup Contest: Updated entry list
Last Sunday week 2 of the registration for the SBC World Cup Contest has been opened.
So far we are having 126 participants! Just great, but lets get to 200!
So here is the list. If did try to register each entry as careful as I could, but because I am a human being I can make mistakes. If you don't see your name on the list, while you did expect it, you probably have to update your entry!
The ones with the (SBC) behind it, are the whitelisted members of our beloved @sbcbot, there are eligible for the SBC prize pool also!
Friendly banter!
I do want to encourage you all, to start some friendly banter in these posts. Interaction between the participant is something we find utmost important. It is not about winning but about getting to know each other!
The world cup brings people together in real life, so lets also do this here!
Side bet
I do have a small side bet with @Ervin-lemark. He is so sure that one of the team within his entry will take to world cup. But because he didn't select Belgium I had to disagree! So, we placed a small side bet with each other! In this case it is not about the bet, cause it for peanuts but is about interacting with each other and having some banter!

Belguim do have the squad but I think they are a little behind in terms of experience on the big stage.
Alsmost the same squad did participate at the previous world and European cup!
While we do have the players we don't have to coach :(
Well you have a point... But why would niangollan be overlooked... I think he had a great season with As Roma.
He doesn't have a good relationship with the coach. That and only that is the reason that he didn't get selected. A real shame :(

I don't think that we will lift the cup, but we do have a chance. Maybe we are more like an outsider, but I do guess that not a lot of countries do want to face us!

Normally Belgium and England should be qualified after 2 games but in Football everything is possible.
What were the reaction when you did got placed with Belgium in the group. Just curious how people outside Belgium think about our team.

A coach who dares to start with Witsel and Fellaini, both as defensive midfielder is not worth it to lead our national team! Really would liked to have Van Gaal or even Advocaat as head coach!

Both have their qualities, but could be very useful during the world cup. I guess that Januzaj (Real Sociedad/Spa) or Nacer Chadli (West Bromwich Albion/Eng) will get his spot.
He made a preselection of 28 names, still 5 have to be disappointed.
I hope those 5 will be:
Matz Sels (goalkeeper), Dedryck Boyata (Celtic), Nacer Chadli (West Bromwich), Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace) and Thorgan Hazard (Borussia Monchengladbach)
But probably I will be wrong and he will surprise us once more.

I would like to wish best of the luck to all the contestants! This is going to be very interesting event, like all would cups, especially when there is a side competition to it like this one!
I would like to point out an interesting fact. I am Croatian, and we have a pretty solid team. It is a sad truth that Croatian football team doesn't have a support which it used to relish back in 1998 when we won 3rd place in France. This is all due to corrupted, mafia-like Croatian Football Federation (HNL) which is only promoting players from which they can benefit. For that reason, many supporters and football fans won't support our team, and many of them even wish that we lose with the greatest defeat!
And all the luck to you ofcourse :)
I hope it will be a great competition, preferably with lots of upsets, excecpt Belgium of course.

Here in Belgium, the country will be united. There are always lots of difficulties between the Dutch and French part but when the red devils are playing we are strangely united!
