Turkey has procured advanced missile defense system from Russia

Russia has finalized the contract for the advanced missile defense system S-400 near Turkey.

Vladimir Kozhin, the top official monitoring Russian military cooperation with foreign countries, confirmed the news. He said the deal was finalized and Moscow will start providing this system to Ankara at the end of 2019.

Kozhin also said that during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin's Ankara on December 11, he had a final discussion with the Turkish President. Now there is no more controversial issue about Ankara to supply the S400.

Russia will provide the loan to Turkey in this arrangement, said President Putin's Assistant Kozhin. About the deal worth $ 2 billion, he said that Turkey will pay a part of the price of the S-400 system. And the rest will give Moscow Ankara as a loan, which will later be returned to Russia.

With the collapse of a failed military coup in 2016, Turkey has built a close relationship with the West, along with the establishment of a close relationship with the West.

The S400 is the latest missile defense system in the sky from the land created in Russia. Moscow has taken a plan to sell this system to Saudi Arabia. Kozhin said on Thursday that the deal will be finalized by Riyadh by the end of this year. A Russian warship has been evacuated from Britain's Panisema.
