MEUS VITA UT VIVERE
There are situations that would confront us and suggest death as the best option. I read of the story of a woman who was born into a Christian home and thus knew Christ at an early age. As a teenager, she never liked who she was as she had been abused by many people and friends she trusted. There was a particular incidence of how one of her friends betrayed her trust by violating her body and then disgraced her by telling everybody what he had done to her. She was devastated and death seemed to be the most preferable option.
You might be able to relate with this. Your case might even be worse. Shame, fear, disappointment etc may have caused you emotional uproar that could necessitate contemplating death. However, I want you to know that God is bigger than all your problems. You might think death is preferable to shame but Jesus has assured you of abundant life (John 10:10). For he said and i quote that son of come that we may have life and have it in abundant, Undoubtedly, problems, troubles, evil situations and circumstances abound but GOD IS BIGGER than them all. Tell God about it. You can still enjoy your life and live fully. Let your disposition be MEUS VITA UT VIVERE- My Life to live.
The woman whose story I shared above wrote that she asked God to heal her heart and rededicated her life to Him. According to her, nothing instant happened but she woke up the next day feeling new, fresh and happy as never before. She said her heart became so whole that she forgave the friend who betrayed her. You can as well choose this option of turning to God and waiting on Him and watch Him turn your life around. I love this song by Bill and Gloria Gaither and will love that you sing it with me.
Bigger than all my problems; bigger than anything; God is bigger than any mountain I can or cannot see… Always remember that no condition is permanent and it will so expire at God appointed time, taking your life is not the ultimate therefore Rethink.
