ALWAYS REMEMBERED
Text: “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea,they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Isa 49:15
Sometimes when we look at things from the natural perspective we may have a feeling that God has forgotten us. It’s possible that all your friends are married with kids while you are not even engaged yet. How things look like is never an indication that God has forgotten you.
David was anointed to become a king at the age of seventeen but it took thirteen years for him to actually get to the throne.
Joseph had his dream at about the age of seventeen too but got to the throne at the age of thirty. Taking thirteen years to become all that he dreamed about. We all know that it took that long for each of them to get to their desired end not because God forgot them. God was working out the details of their lives in those years.
If any one tells you that God has forgotten you get back to the word and reassure yourself of what God says “….I will never leave you nor forsake you...”Heb 13:5. God’s word must become your anchor in the face of delays and setbacks. It’s easy to describe those things as “God has forgotten me”.
Don’t use what is happening in the life of others as a yardstick for your own life. God has a unique plan for each one of us. If there are issues you need to confront in prayer go ahead and take charge in the realms of the Spirit but don’t ever say God has forgotten you. That feeling and statement is satanic.
Human relationship may fail us but we must never use that to interpret God’s involvement in our lives. Even when the whole world is gone God is there for you. He never sleeps nor slumbers watching over you.
CONFESSION:
I am never forgotten. God’s thoughts towards me out number the sand on the seashore. I am engraved on the palms of His hands. His eyes are on me.
