Beliefs are so strong that the only way for a culture to often change is enough people in the old mindset die.

You nailed it. It's scary to think that one day I will represent "unwanted" generation of old/stubborn people. We all will face it. One day.

Right now indeed I'm one of those who are waiting until some "dinosaurs" would die.

People who believe that it will not take place fail to understand the mindset. Companies want to get rid of labor and automation will give them the power to do so.

I always found it quite amusing, that corporations want to profit as much as they can and replace labour, without really thinking long term. After all humans are also consumption driving force. If people will not be spending, then entire economy (build on debt and money flow) will crash.
