RE: Gratitude Day 20/62: Nigerian Pidgin English
I can't help but laugh a little, do you know that the real English we are speaking is the pidgin version of Latin +greek+french, that's is why when you open the English dictionary you'll find out that 80-90% of there words are derived from different cultures, they don't have a language of there own. And it's that English we all want to kill ourselves all about, can you imagine.
With this your experience am already dreaming of a day a novel of international standard and bestseller will be written in pidgin, writers from different tongues have done it, this year Nobel Laurete in Literature (Ishiguro) wrote his own in Japanese.
Why can't we ?
