Macao bird of a spec of the world's most rare birds The Tia tribe species are native to Brazil. In 1819, a sample was collected from Brazil, German naturalist Johann Baptist von Speaks. And so they are named after them - Speaks of Macau.
They are also known as Little Blue Macau. They are smaller than other big macaws in size. Their average weight is 300 g. They usually live on eating various types of seeds and nut fruits.
According to the IUCN, Speaks of Macau are currently extinct. They were first seen in the Bahia State and surrounding areas of Brazil. But they are almost extinct from the wild nature due to various reasons including destruction of trees, deforestation, and settlement of people near the houses of Speaks of Macau.
