She is a friend of her father who is accused of raping her. His age is 55. She alleged that she was raped by a knife on the way while taking the friend's daughter to Uttar Pradesh's capital, Lucknow.

Lalita said that she did not tell her father or sister anything about raping her at home. But only after a few months, when her pregnancy was not kept under control, rape cases became known.
