POLITICAL DISAPPEAR

Hello steemians friends, the discomfort of politics in our case is expressed in the indifference shown by a good part of the Venezuelan population regarding the call to deposit their vote in each of the existing federal districts in Venezuela. Such number of people did not respond satisfactorily to this call made by the discredited National Electoral Council, an organization called to be politically impartial, but with its latest executions has been shown rather as a Miraflores franchise, a subaltern office of President Maduro.

A large number of the population was apathetic, indifferent, disinterested, and for that reason the numerical results thrown by this event are unfavorable for any of the party options in which today the electoral preferences of Venezuelans are divided. Almost 40% of the country's voting population (8 million) did not go to the polls, while, of the effective suffragans, an average of 35% (5 million) deposited their vote in favor of the candidates opposed to the PSUV. Both figures add a grand total that reaches 75% of the country's citizens (19 million), those who have the right to vote and decide the fate of all Venezuelans.

Due to this abstention, cases like the Bolivar State occurred where Justo Noguera Pietri won with just 28.4% of the electoral roll; Carabobo, where Rafael Lacava was elected with 31% of the electoral roll; and Miranda, where Héctor Rodríguez received the backing of just 30.9% of the electoral roll. So the puritan truth is that the PSUV is governing the country supported by the support of the citizen minority, only 5 million 800 thousand people, (30% of the voter registry), a minority clearly insufficient to carry out a revolutionary process, that according to the saying of the psuvista elite is what is running in Venezuela now. These are the numbers, the numbers thrown by the recent elections, the crude truth of the electoral behavior of Venezuelans, the harsh truth of the national disenchantment with politics and its drivers.

A revolution with such succinct support is simply impossible dream, because to transform in depth a socioeconomic reality requires consensus, popular support, massive support from the people that will be affected for good or bad with such transformations. But here in Venezuela, that popular support for the government, we see, is increasingly scarce. The support to the Chavista administration comes in a tailspin, it has waned since the death of Hugo Chávez. Because of all this, it is not true that a revolutionary process is developing here in our country.

Such a revolution exists only in the deceitful rhetoric of the psuvist leaders, in the charades uttered by Maduro and his comrades, in the repeated speeches broadcast by such a group, directed to a gallery audience willing to simply believe what comes out from the mouth of the Chavista elite. This new power group uses almost the same resources as the ADCs in their decline to maintain the support with which they win elections: bags of food, cards of the homeland, hams given in December, backpacks for students and any kind of frustration, with so to obtain political revenues.
