I have been back on steemit for over 3 months now and for the life of me I cannot get my voting power above 90%.
I've gotten a number of people directly or indirectly to join steemit over the past could of months. In no particular order.

It's hard not to upvote and support people when i'm scrolling through my home feed. I guess I'm just going to have to use upvote bots for the next couple of day

I have the same problem. I was at 50% when the weekend started and I tried to stay off Steem. Didnt so perfect, I came and voted on some things.. couldnt help it. I have however got back above 70.. So just a little more vote dieting and I can get to that good 100% again, or close at least

Definitely understandable. Important to get your VP back so your votes matter even more! That slider really comes in clutch to make sure you aren't voting too much, but sometimes you want to just give people more profit for their work but can't :(.

Had the same problem than you at the beginning, especially for comments. I often find that some comments are hilarious. The problem when you upvote comments is your vp gets low very fast. So now I am limiting myself.

Hey man, quick question from a newbie to Steemit and DTube, I posted my video on DTube 12 hours ago and DTube actually upvoted it! But I did notice that the post did drop a bit with the value from the moment they upvoted it up utnil now. I was at 76.36 SBD 12 hours ago, now I am at 74.06, how much more will it drop in the period of the next week? @alao
That is only the 7 day average price of Steem. The price you see in there is in dollars. When you get paid out it will be in SBD and STEEM. That will not change so your $76 dollars will be about 20 SBD regardless of the dollar value.
Okay so if I understood you correctly, the price of their like will drop down in the value over 7 days? Currently it sits at 74 Steem Dollars, if I understood you correclty you say that the price of that like will fall down to 20 Steem Dollars?
