I come up with business ideas and I figured I should start sharing them. This one is not my own but it’s a good one.
First you find businesses that don’t have websites. You can do this by searching for a business type, such as plumbers, in google maps it will show you which have websites and which don’t.
You then call them and offer them a free preview site which they only pay for if they want to keep it.
There are two options at this point: you can charge them a one time fee for the site, or you can host their site and charge them per month.
The second way sounds better to me because fifty a month sounds like nothing to a business it’s like paying a phone bill but for you it adds up.
You hire a cheap programmer to design the site using a template. A good programmer should be able to do this in an hour for a basic site costing around 50. You will need an ongoing relationship with such a programmer.
Assuming most people who express interest in a free site take it you will make great money!!!
I tried this and the issue was in getting the leads but if someone has he patience to cold call they can make this work.
