Politics Play a huge role in business
The stability of a country's politics can ruin or reward your business. There are very few countries in the world that has mastered the triple C rule (Committed, Capable, Credible). Botswana is one the few countries who has mastered the triple C rule.
The stability of Botswana's government has used the triple c rule to sustain it's economy for more then a decade. When doing business in any country as an entrepreneur learn to acknowledge the stability of the government and you may not be involved in politics but stay updated as politics affects any business operating in that country. Am writing this through the experience i gathered from my father from doing business in different African countries. At first he was stubborn but it humbled him not to be ignorant of politics of the country he's doing business in but to stay updated even though he may not be involved in politics.
Don't only study your target market but also the stability of the politics in the country you're doing business or want to do business in. Don't worry about critics on why you're doing business in that country what's important, is it good for your business?
