8 High Paying Jobs Few People Know Exist.
I am an avid reader and I always make sure to look for interesting things to learn about. I came across an article of an interview of a crossword puzzle maker and I was intrigued at what I learned. Those guys make some good money on that job. So, I decided to come up with a list of high paying jobs that few people actually know exist. Some of these jobs are usually not on our career choice lists.
Crossword Puzzle Maker.
I am a big fan of solving crosswords but I never once gave a thought of how these puzzles are created. It turns out some people have made successful careers from this unique job. Experienced puzzle makers can sell a single crossword to newspapers such as The New York Times for up to $1000. For beginners, they could sell one crossword for $50. If you can create high-quality well-themed crossword puzzles, this could be your money maker.Ice Cream Taste Masters.
These guys are also known as sensory analysts or flavorologists and their job is basically taste testing ice cream. This is probably one of the coolest jobs out there. They are responsible for assessing ice cream colors and developing new flavors. Their average pay is $60,000 a year and some receive salaries as high as $100,000 a year.Food Stylists.
Every now and then you often see eye-catching photos of food that just leave your mouth watering for a taste. These food stylists work with magazines, chefs and even food manufacturers for their packaging and marketing needs. Established food stylists can earn about $450 to $850 a day. Average annual pay of a professional food stylist in the US is $50,000 as of March 24, 2019.Private Island Caretakers.
Private island owners need someone to take care of their islands and properties depending on their wants. Imagine taking up this job on a beautiful tropical island, soaking up the sun, having fun and still getting paid for it. Some caretakers earn about $150,000 a year, while others earn $10 an hour or $10,000 a month.Blimp Pilots.
Blimps are balloon-like airships that have no internal structural framework. Majority of us have only seen them on TV. You have to be a licensed pilot with a number of flying numbers under your belt to be considered qualified enough to work on these airships. Pilots starting salary is around $25,000 a year up to $70,000 a year for experienced pilots.Disney Characters at Amusement Parks.
This is another cool and awesome job that pays really well and the craziest part is that you do not need qualifications for this job. Working as some of your favorite Disney characters as a kid sounds awesome. Their salaries are also crazy high. These guys earn around $27,000 a year.Fortune Cookie Slogan Writers.
Those appealing one-line slogans that you love on your fortune cookies are actually written by professional fortune cookie slogan writers. Their salaries are around $40,000 to $60,000 a year. If you believe you have the talent for writing one line slogans, you have found your niche.Professional Sleepers.
Did you know there are people who are paid to sleep? Crazy, right? Professional sleepers take part in scientific research where they are monitored after testing sleep-related products such as sleeping pills. They are also monitored so as to study their sleeping patterns. They are not paid huge amounts of money but since they are paid to sleep $10,000 is not at all that bad.
Some of these jobs are pretty cool and probably easy to do and would give you a chance to explore other aspects of life that you enjoy.
