Member Profile: Mason and Maggie

Have you been curious who the creative team is behind the decor at The Foundry? Meet Mason Cantey and soon to be Maggie Cantey.

Mason and Maggie make sure that The Foundry is a place where people feel welcome the moment they walk in the door. Their eye for aesthetics and cozy environments have been a gift to our team.

Mason and Maggie run their company Wood and Wool, and custom make various pieces. You can see a few items here on their desk.

The designs on the paper here are for a new blanket that Maggie is working on. The colors will be black, grey, and white while the top will be centered with a tobacco stick.

Those dice on the table, yes, Mason carved those out of a single piece of wood. They work pretty well - I tested them personally.

One of my favorite items is this piece of pottery by Maggie. The angles and edges are rough, yet elegant. When you pick it up, it is quite heavy too!

The more you admire the work, you see that is has the design of a seashell. I don’t know if that was on purpose, but knowing Maggie, I bet it was.
