When you earn a dollar from work, investment or any other way, you pay taxes... direct and indirect taxes. That way your dollar becomes 0.8$.. 0.7$.. 0.5$...

BUT

When you save a dollar you saved a whole dollar!
No taxes on savings...
So if you ask yourself what is better - earn more or reduce expenses, remember the rule above!
