How to find a supplier

In this part, I will show you the steps to find a supplier who will provide you with the products which you want to add into your shop.

Navigate to alibaba.com and make sure you obtain an account there. It is free.
Alibaba is a pretty simple platform. You will find it easy to get known with it. Just like Amazon. You can enter a keyword in the search field and choose the item you need.

Start page Alibaba.com

If you already know the product which you want to obtain, analyze the different supplier.
Check for :

• minimum amount which you have to obtain
• how you can pay (Paypal -> buyers protection!)
• delivery conditions
• rating from buyers
• response rate etc.

After you find your supplier the fun begins. The negotiations. And here be prepared to show your needs as clear as possible to avoid bad surprises. The devil’s in the detail… I will show some instructions in the next post. 😊
