THE BASIC LAWS OF BUSINESS
1 YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU GIVE
Hard work is definitely beneficial; it pays to be hard working. As an employer, ensure that your loyal employees are adequately appreciated and rewarded. By rewarding your employees, they get motivated and are willing to work harder for your business success.
2 IT IS EASY TO STOP A PERSON, BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO STOP A HUNDRED
This has to do with teamwork. The energy of one person cannot be compared with the energy of a hundred persons. Teamwork is highly beneficial compared to an individual work. Teamwork enables you to get your products processed on time, it brings about increase in productivity, increase in ideas, enhancement of reputation, increase in recognition and lots more.
3 WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
You’ve heard of this, right? Whatever you input is what you harvest. When you exhibit pessimistic attitude towards work, same would your employees exhibit. When you see no good about your employees, in the same way, good things would not come out of them. As a leader, be positively minded, be a motivator, an inspiration to your employees, so as to harvest productivity.
4 YOU DO WHAT YOU GOT TO DO
Whenever you set to do something meaningful, challenges would always be encountered, you need to approach them professionally to overcome. When you give excuses and abandon what you should do today, you would still be the one to do them tomorrow. Nothing should stop you from achieving your goals.
5 YOU GOTTA WANNA
Nobody does what he doesn’t want to do. Interest in things makes people do things. As an entrepreneur, show your workers the benefits and importance of what you want them to do. Get them motivated, once this is done, they will “wanna” work.
6 YOU CAN FOOL THE FANS, BUT YOU CANNOT FOOL THE PLAYERS
Different companies have different challenges and weaknesses. There levels of challenges that the management should keep away from the employees while working to solve them. Let your clients not get to know your challenges, but your strength. Paint a positive image about your company, not the negative.
7 WHEN YOU RAISE THE BOTTOM, THE TOP WILL RISE
Bear in mind that a happy employee makes for a happy employer. These both work hand in hand for progress. Motivate your employees instead of discourage them. Show positive attitude towards them. Make them feel confident and belonging. When they’re happy and confident, they deliver on their task productively.
8 WHEN PEOPLE SET THEIR TARGETS, THEY USUALLY HIT THEM
Setting goals to accomplish in an organization is very important. This because there’ll be an effort towards achieving the goals. Without set goals, the organization would not have a sense of focus and direction. Share your vision with your employees and work with them diligently towards realizing the vision.
9 IF NOBODY PAYS ATTENTION, PEOPLE STOP CARING
Acknowledging the efforts of your employees would make them acknowledge their tasks in the organization. By rewarding the efforts of your workers, they are motivated and they feel valued, thus, giving in their best to achieving the set goals of the organization.
