The whiskey car did the first ride !
We all know you do not have to drink and then get on the wheel, but just because you can not do that does not mean that the car can not enjoy an occasional whiskey.
A group of creative inventors in Scotland, known as Celtic Renewables, had the idea of creating a biofuel, called biobutanol. This should be a replacement for gasoline and diesel, and you do not have to make any changes to the engine system to use this new fuel made from waste that is useless for whiskey factories: malt residue Barley and a sparkling liquid resulting from fermentation.
Researchers have developed a process by which to combine the liquid with the solid and for that they have used a fermentation process called ABE. This resulted in biobutanol. According to them, this new fuel can replace gasoline and is the first time in history when a car operated on the basis of a biofuel produced from whiskey production residue, Jalopnik informs.
Specialists claim that the whiskey car does not go or feel different from a car that goes on diesel or gasoline. Here we can clearly see the huge contrast between people and cars. Although in your case a glass of whiskey can make a considerable difference and affect your style of going, in the case of your car it behaves just as it always results from fermentation.
Celtic Renewables received $ 11.6 million in state funding to create a fully operational car running on this technology by 2019. So soon we will be able to buy whiskey cars , But we hope that the power will not be more expensive.
