All the hard work is done and you’re finally ready to launch your membership site. The coding, the videos, the months of research, the funnel – it’s all ready, and it looks better than you ever could have hoped. There’s just one problem… you have no idea how to price it.
This is a common problem for many people who have just completed their first membership site simply because they have spent so much time, effort, and money in creating it. In your mind, it’s all too easy to value it as worth thousands, even hundreds of thousands. And the truth is, yes, it will be – but only if you get the pricing right!
There is a lot of competition out there, and nobody will pay a price that’s too high. So the number 1 rule is to not price your site too high. How high is too high? That’s a tricky question as it has so many variables, but as a general rule of thumb, don’t price it out the reach of your target market.
You can also look at other membership sites in your niche and see what they are pricing theirs at – this is a great way to get a feel for the market, and it will also let you position yourself within it. What you’ll also want to do is decide if your offer is compelling – and if you can make a premium offer alongside your regular offer.
It’s always going to be tricky to find the best pricing, but be sensible and know your market and you can’t go too far wrong. If the quality of your membership site is high, they will come, and you will finally enjoy the fruits of your hard work.
