Blockchain technology could play a huge roll in administrating the different phases of a product from cradle to consumer. In The Netherlands an egg producer started experimenting with it. Consumers can check online what food the chicken ate, which company provides the energy for the farm, who transports the egg to the supermarket and every other step in between...
