✅ How to Make Better Decisions with Less Stress. 😌

I want to share with you how to make better decisions in both life and business with less stress. Each and every day we make decisions, some more important than others. I’ve found that my best decisions in life and business were often made from a better state of mind.

When my mind is full of problems and I am aware of negative thoughts and then feelings of doubt, insecurity and low energy follow. It’s this negative state of mind when least favorable decisions are made. Haven’t you noticed that having less to think about, less on your mind provides the space and opportunities for better quality thoughts.

It’s in this state of mind when the best decisions are made. During my time life coaching and business consulting many clients had issues with important decision making. However in the past I approached helping them with an analytical mind, helping them with the pro’s and con’s of their issue and debating the information at hand. Then allowing them to come to their own conclusions.

But then I saw that it was their state of mind in that moment that greatly influences their decision making and in perceiving the pro’s and con’s. Now what I focus on as priority is encouraging my clients to seek a clearer mind, with less thinking and less on the mind. I believe that ultimately with any kind of decision it’s insights, intuition and inspiration that provide better quality decisions.

Focusing my coaching on what inspires them, guiding them to a sense of peace and calm while holding them to a state of optimism is much more effective and impactful in positive decision making. I believe that we must trust ourselves more, our capacity to gain fresh new thinking from our Innate wisdom of Mind that we are all part of. Many times it is just us getting out of the way and allowing a state of mind that feels grounded.

Grounding is a meditative state of mind where all our thinking quiets down and our innate wisdom from Mind begins to show. Leading to more awareness, and presence in the moment. And it’s these moments, indeed any moment that we make decisions that shape our business, health, relationships and so on.

So before you make a decision that’s important to you first become away of your state of mind. If you’re in a chronic negative state then know that this time will pass and your first choice is to wait before making any decision. Then give yourself time for your thoughts to quieten, slow down your thinking, and create the space for fresh insights and thinking to arise that contains a wisdom from the Mind.

Do your best to stay grounded and allow your innate wisdom to reveal the insights that will best serve and guide you to making a decision.

So very true that bad perspectives and poor decisions come out of feeling poorly where as that great clear, unified mind brings easy and right choices and paying attention to the state of mind we're in when working on something makes all the difference. Nice post!
