How I lost $160,000 By Not Buying Into Bitcoin in 2012

I am going to continue this series as much as I can.
About 5-6 years a go I was listening to a conservative radio show when Max Keiser was screaming (I was 25 at the time):
BUY BITCOIN NOW!!! YOU WILL GET RICH IF YOU DO
I, like most people didn't understand crypto currencies back then. However, I did try to open a wallet and buy $200 worth. That would have given me about 40 Bitcoins. I am thinking Canadian dollars so that's about $160K if I actually with through with my purchase.
That's my Coinbase account.
Why didn't I go through with it? Because I was young, didn't fully understand crypto currencies, and didn't have an investment mindset at the time.
I will not make the same mistake with Steemit. I am doing well enough to put a few $100 here and there with Steemit and Bitcoin.
Tell me your stories. Any shoulda, woulda, coulda stories? I am not saying let's think of what could have been. I am just trying to learn from our mistakes collectively.
You didn't technically lose any money. You just messed up hardcore.
