In this video I explain what affiliate marketing is. As a beginner to internet marketing and making money online one of the first methods to build an online revenue stream is likely to be affiliate marketing.

The affiliate marketing concept is quite simple. It it where you earn a commission on a sale that you have referred to a website. For example, image you have a niche site specialising in security camera technology you could have an Amazon Associates ad for a top of the range security camera and you would receive a percentage of 4-8% for the sale of the camera.

One of the advantages of using Amazon Associates is that if someone you refer to Amazon buys anything on the Amazon site you will still get a commission for the sale. This means you don't even have to get them to buy the product to Amazon. You just need to get them over to Amazon.
