Rebirth of BurstCoin despite the big dip in crypto markets

A month ago things ware looking bad for the only Proof of Capacity coin on the market. Lack of development, DDoS attacks on the blockchain and community websites made it look like the coin that introduced smart contracts in 2014 (way before Ethereum) was going to die. However we already wrote back then that a new team has stepped in and took over active development.

It turned out that the announcement from The Proof of Capacity Consortium (PoCC) was not just empty words.

• a new Cryptoguru block & network explorer that allows a diagnosis of the Burst nodes and revealed a big percentage of stuck and outdated nodes. Seeing the number of unhealthy nodes decrease is going to be a first goal and step toward a more stable network.
• a new testnet has been released for anyone to use. This will be useful to test Burst's new or already existing features.
• a new Linux Package repository has been created. This will make Burst software easier to install for Linux users.
• new commits on github started poring in.

This renewed positive buzz around the coin and today we could see a massive spike in price despite the whole crypto space turning red.
