SLC S21W5-Men sleeves and cuff pattren layout
I made a rectangle which is a square of four corner and I marked each corner with ABC and D.
I take short sleeve length as 1/2 of back width+1 cm.
Vertically first point was a and d and same vertically other two points are b and c respectively. I started from point A to point D and I come below 6th part of width of back and move It towards line b and c that was a vertical line.
From point one at vertical line BC I allocate 2.5 cm. First horizontal line of rectangle is AB at which I measured 1 by 6th of back and I minus 1 cm from it.
CD is second horizontal line that is below at end of rectangle from where I measured 1/2th of arm size and added around 1.5 cm in it.
Now from point D i measured 2.5 cm outside rectangle. Now at end it was the time to join some points together to make it a final look so here I am giving a curve shape above by joining point 3 to point 2. I join with points dragging straight line with scale.
Again for making long sleeves I have made a rectangle with four corners and mark them as point a b c and d.
Long sleeve length was made by measurement of 1 by 2 of back with and adding 1 cm in it. I start from point a to d and measured 6th part of back width. After that I transferred it to line which was in between point b and c (A vertical line)
From point 1 I allocated 2.5 cm and in vertical line BC I measured 6th part of back width from which around 1 cm was eliminated.
Moving counterside of BC or from C towards B I move up around 7-8 cm so that I may give enough width to cuff. I take measurement of whole line for and divided it with 3 like if I have whole measurement of line 4 is at around 20 cm then after dividing it at 3 I am getting 6.8 cm.
You can see that below there's point 5 which is closer to last line AD and from there I measured 1.5 cm.From 6th line towards AD I measured around 5 cm.Here there's point 7 also visible from where I move up 7 to 9 cm for giving a good opening to cuff.
Now at last I joined different points to windup pattren of long sleeves. 1 was joined with point 5 by dragging straight line and two was joined with three in a shape of curve as I did in short sleeve pattern too. Point 6 was joined with CD line that was at bottom of rectangle.
Below are some of the layouts of cuff in which I have made square cuff and open cuff.
Square cuff have a square shaped layout at end and open cuff don't have a visible closure. From both of them my favourite is open type of cuff because it gives an elegant look to boys wear.
