Hi, I saw this recently yes. It is absolutely ridiculous. Seems worse than Facebook censorship, I was not consulted, Justin Sun just does what he likes without consulting anyone. No people shouldn't need permission to promote each other. Justin controls steemit.com so I suggest you start using Steempeak.com or busy.org going forward as they do not have those restrictions, we should make a movement to migrate people to other frontends on Steem.
