Gomaeshwara Temple - The First of the Seven Wonders of India

Statue of Gomateshwara
It is believed that the Gomteshwar statue located here is more than 1000 years old. It is a stone statue of 58.8 feet high on Indragiri mountain. Jains believe that Bahubali Gomteshwar was the first person to get salvation. Every 12 years devotees gather here for Mahamastakabhishek. This idol is danced with saffron, ghee, milk, curd, gold coins and many other items.
