Thanks for sharing. This prompted me to do a little searching. I see that Coin ATM Radar currently reports about 712 BTMs world-wide. So this additional 7000 BTMs for Canada and Australia would represent about an order-of-magnitude ramp-up. Although, I didn't see any details about when this roll-out will start and how long it will take.
Additionally, I found this coinfox article: Bitcoin ATMs at the start of 2016: an overview which raises the issue that there may be a significant portion of the world-wide BTMs that are listed with a status of “temporary outage” or “might be non-working”. But, all in all, this article seems to be a positive step in furthering Bitcoin adoption.
