Satoshi Nakamoto is the unknown founder, or founders, of bitcoin. BTC was founded back in 2009 and now is averaged at $20,000 USD on exchanges.
Satoshi’s 980,000 bitcoin are now valued at $19.4 billion dollars, which makes him (or her, or them) the 44th richest in the world. Satoshi Nakamoto is ranked below major corporate leaders and innovators of industry, but his value continues to rise.
Satoshi transformed the global finance industry with his p2p decentralized digital currency.
Cryptos Market Cap Reaches $600 Billion
This weekend the total combined value of all cryptos hit $600 billion, which makes them more valuable than the mega-company Amazon. This was a sharp rise from last weeks $440 billion valuation, which was boosted by CBOE’s bitcoin futures debut. The market cap for cryptos rose by $160 billion (36%) since last Monday.
