(12/18, Sun) btc rebounded, but it is just not meaningful move on the weekend

in #btc2 years ago

Yesterday(12/17 00:00 - 24:00, UTC+0), bitcoin price recorded its starting as $16618, its lowest as $16582, its highest as $16787, its closing as $16774. Bitcoin declined slightly after Saturday's start, reaching a low at 02:15, then rebounding weakly, moving sideways again, and peaking at 23:00, ending 0.9% up.

Looking at the 4hr chart, it held a weekend-like volume and btc moved sideways in a small range throughout the day, which is better than a decline. On the daily chart, there was a small movement on the 24 hour candlestick to only $200, and the it didn't seem to have set a direction on the weekend.

Elon Musk, who acquired Twitter, is said to be reviewing the sale in less than two months, and because of this, speculative rumors are emerging that Tesla might be able to sell its Bitcoin holdings. If we remember that Tesla's $1.5 billion Bitcoin purchase article earlier last year pushed Bitcoin above $50k, it is clear that this news will act as another bad news if this company sells Bitcoin.
