Bruce Willis Bio and Family

Walter Bruce Willis was born in West Germany on March 19, 1955. Willis was the third of four children, and his father was an Army officer. Willis grew up in Virginia, Iowa, New Jersey, and Vermont before moving to Tappahannock, Virginia when he was in high school. After high school, Willis attended Hartwick College before transferring to the University of Maryland to pursue acting full-time after two years at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York where he graduated with a degree in Drama and Journalism in 1976.
