BRIGADA SKWELA 2018
Brigada Eskwela, also known as National Schools Maintenance Week (NSMW), is an annual week-long activity that brings together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort and resources to prepare public school’s facilities, for the opening of the school year. The Brigada Eskwela is proof that an effective partnership between the government and citizens is possible. Brigada Eskwela or the National Schools Maintenance Week is a nationwide initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) that mobilizes thousands of people.
Brigada Eskwela is not about the cleanest school. It is not about the most organized campus. It's about the whole community transcending differences but because of unity and cooperation of one another. That is one of the main reason why DEpEd do this to communicate and sociable to everyone.
DepEd encourage students to attend Brigada Skwela. This Brigada skwela is Participated by individual, private organizations, business sectors, local and national government agencies which together share their efforts, time and resources.
