We all have to breathe! As we enter this world, we take our first gasp of air and then never stop breathing. Breathing in experiences. Breathing in smells. Breathing in memories. Breathing in oxygen. Breathing in life. However, the most important part of the breath is the ability to control our emotions, physiology, and mind. Our breathe is an essential to to ease our monkey minds, to bring ourselves to the present moment, and to bring in energy. Prana. So next time you feel overwhelmed, unfocused, or stressed, remember to breathe. Take a deep inhale through the nose and deep exhale out the mouth. Focus on counting the breathe in, and add 2 seconds more than the inhale to your exhale!
