How to get over a breakup
You made a mistake falling in love with someone that doesn't even know you exist, maybe you thought he/she was giving you some sort of green light and you made your move only to end up broken or he/she broke up with you either way your heart got broken, feeling like you were stabbed in the heart and now it's affecting you both mentally and physically. Well today, c'mon clean those tears I'm going to give you 7 tips you can use to get over a breakup. If that sounds interesting lets get right to it.
1.Accept the pain you feel
Knowing that the pain you feel is totally normal, it's part of nature as a matter of fact pour out what you might be feeling. Doing so will help you get rid of the pain you're feeling, so that you could move on. Only when you accept your feeling can you truly move on. If you bury it deep down and keep decieving yourself that you have moved on it will surely come back for you.
2.keep your distance
Even after the break up you guys are still friends there's nothing wrong with that but keep your distance in other words
. reduce the way you chat with him/her
. reduce your chances of seeing him/her
I didn't say you should not chat with the person instead reduce it.
Just give the person space, like enough space.
3.Rebound relationship
This is a No! No! for you. Don't ever get into a relationship immediately after the breakup because what you are doing is just well, deceiving yourself. Chances are, you might not even have any feeling for the new individual that you are dating. You are using it as a defense mode to help hide your feelings and to get back at your ex, at least that's what you think but the reality is that you are just hurting yourself the more.
4.Memory triggers
This part is very important, anything that reminds you of your ex should be kept aside for the meantime. lets say you have a place the both of you normally go to or maybe a song that he/she loves, anything related to your ex should be hidden. If it's a watch you can hide it then after you have recovered and I mean fully recovered you can start using it again.
PS: only if you have fully recovered or you might end up repeating the whole breakup.
5.Positive vibes
Surround yourself with supportive and positive people, when you do these you start feeling happy, not only that but also knowing your worth because after a breakup you will feel like you have no value but being around supportive and positive people will make you see your value again which will help you recover quickly.
6.Take care of yourself
After a breakup you might want to take a break from your daily activities but end up over doing it.
You might take a break from working out but can you really tell your boss you need a break that you just had a breakup?, I don't think so and I don't think you should. Don't allow the breakup mess you up the more. Instead take care of yourself go out with friends, have a nice time. If you start taking care of yourself, believe me you are going to attract new people that are way better than your ex.
7.Never go back
Never go back Never!!!. It's like going back to wear a faded shirt. It is toxic for you. Everything has a purpose now this is my own personal advice to you, going back to your ex will just make things worse chances are what made you breakup at first might still be the same thing that will make you break up again. So move on you will surely see a more better person than your ex.
