RE: All That's Left on My Poloniex
Im still with Poloniex, but will be moving soon, here's why...
- speed - the speed is getting worse and worse, they removed trollbox instead of correcting leaky js.
- leaky js - just keep the tab open for couple of hours and guess what... it will just crash.
- once logged in and clicking deposits it takes several seconds to get balance.
most of all, the reason is as some1 already mentioned - it's becoming a hassle to sell via their interface, it's just to laggy. Between the tick/change of price and you being able to make an order it's several seconds.
btw. I was using them couple of months ago and you could still have open 3 tabs without crashing other (poloniex) tabs, now it's kind of impossible.
They're making great money, but the website is designed and working like the servers would be on 56kbits (im on 200 megs and everything is just blazing fast so it's poloniex). Despite being on nginx (or it's just reverse proxy from cloudflare) it doesnt look like they're load balancing or doing anything else that should be done with a any non-static website that's growing fast.
Now if i compare degradation of services in frame of November to June/July then it's just a tragedy - if it'll continue like that I dont want to think how it will work in couple of months. In the end it's a stupid story - loosing money because they cannot program/admin well enough.
Actually because of that (visible lack of it pros in team) Im afraid to keep anything there when there will be btc forking/splitting etc.
Well, a nice argument. I wish you well. It is just that I have been in bittrex too and I have had course to complain about their service. They added alot of coins now majority of which are shit coin which they pump and dump at will.
I was thinking Polo was pumping and dumping until I saw what has been happening in bittrex lately. Some coin will go like 1000% in split seconds and go back to zero per cent.
