Craniotomy is the name of an operation in which a part of the skull bones is temporarily removed to gain access to the brain tissue.

Opening the skull with surgery to remove the tumor, reduce the internal pressure, or discharge the blood clot. Fetal skulls in hard labor are also a kind of skull.

کرانیوتومی نام یک عمل جراحی است که در آن قسمتی از استخوان جمجمه به طور موقت جهت دسترسی به بافت مغز برداشته می شود

باز کردن جمجمه با عمل جراحی برای بیرون آوردن تومور، کاستن فشار داخلی و یا تخلیه لخته خون انجام می‌شود. برش جمجمه جنین در زایمان‌های سخت نیز گونه‌ای از جمجمه‌بری است
