Spayed.. 2 weeks of hell
The problem was her personality, which never was a problem before. We love the furry baby, full of fun, runs like a crazy dog, and sleeps so cuddly with my husband and I until she had a 6 inch incision.
So.. no running, jumping, and no licking her belly. It was either she wears the "cone of shame" or Daddy's T shirt. I forgot to tell you her personality also has the sensitivity of the sweetest little angel that ever existed, and when we put her in the new crate with the cone of shame it broke her huge heart, along with mine. So the T shirt prevented her from licking the wound but try and imagine putting this on and taking it off for bathroom breaks!! NOT FUN!! Also, after her running the 2 acre yard before and now making her leash walk for those bathroom breaks. Wow, A lot of work! Because we love our Dog as if she were one of our children not spaying wasn't an option and the benefits greatly outweighed this minor 2 week inconvenience so do it if you have a pet!
So now things are slowly back to normal
She is back to drinking wine.
Jumping on the furniture.
And just as cool as ever!!
