Boulder Sunday
#BoulderSunday created by @shasta
Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada is filled with red Rock and more than a few boulders! There are some amazing rock formations and we saw mountain sheep while we were there, but because this post is about boulders I chose photos to post here that have a boulder or two in them!
The state park is named for the red Aztec Sandstone formations, which formed 150 million years ago.from sand dunes.
Mountain sheep and more boulders
The park is located in the Mojave Desert and is only 58 miles away from Las Vegas, although it feels like it is a totally different world.

Thank you!
I love them big huge red rocks it reminds me of when i was in Colorado a few years ago i remember seeing a concert at the Red Rock Theater it was one of my highlights in my teen's the band i saw was Pink Floyd backed up with U2 was the best concert seen in my life :)
Those red rocks in the American West are pretty phenomenal! That must have been an amazing concert to be at. Lucky you!
It was truly phenomenal my friend , i meant some people in Denver while on my travels through the States and they were going to this concert at red rocks so it was just perfect timing and so happy that i got to see this amazing performance :)
What other places did you go to while you were here?
I was there mainly to visit my auntie and cousins in Connecticut but then i went to New York and Lake George , California , Denver and Colorado then to the Grand Canyons did about 2 months in America :)
Good pictures. The nature is so amazing!
Thanks! The American southwest is beautiful.
Very pretty. I know that one day I will be able to visit some beautiful places in the USA.
