Ancient stone smiley face
Wikipedia says that the most ancient smiley face was discovered during excavations in the city of Karkamis. The smiley face was drawn on the surface of the jug and dates back to about 1700 BC. In the Siberian city of Minusinsk in the local history Museum there is a boulder on which a painted face is clearly visible.
Википедия пишет, что самый древний смайлик был обнаружен при раскопках в городе Каркамыш. Смайлик был нарисован на поверхности кувшина и датируется примерно 1700 годом до нашей эры. В сибирском городе Минусинске в краеведческом музее лежит валун на котором отчетливо просматривается нарисованная рожица.
Archaeologists attribute the drawing on this boulder to the end of the third Millennium BC.
Археологи относят рисунок на этом валуне к концу третьего тысячелетия до н э.
The Boulder was found on the Uibat river in Khakassia and apparently was processed during the Okunev culture.
Валун был найден на реке Уйбат в Хакасии и по видимому был обработан во время окуневской культуры.

Good to see you @irvet! :-) My favorite kind of boulders ones with ancient
carvings and meanings! Nothing better than the first smiley face, tho more
like a neutral face than sad or happy. The Okunev culture looks very interesting!
