Boracay's Closure
Considered as one the world's finest beach is now about to have it's closure this coming April 26, 2018 for 6 months rehabilitation.
Though the government's purpose is good but I feel sorry for those people who will affected by its closure. Especially those who are relying their daily earnings on the island.
I am hoping that gov't can help out those will be affected by its closure.
the closure is related to the sewage problem that pollute the sea?
Yes
Six months is a long closure for an industry with already limited time to access its demographic. It must be really bad for them to close the beach that long. That’s the entire year’s tourist season, isn’t it? The businesses and workers will suffer the most, but government loses a massive tax revenues too.
