Welcome to Ivymuse!
Hello and welcome to my newly set up Steemit page!
My name is Theresa, I'm (almost) 24 and an avid reader + booktuber! I've been making videos about the books I love to read (and the ones that don't quite make that list) since 2012 and have been loving every second of it!
https://www.youtube.com/user/ivymuse
I do read across all genres but my favourites tend to be fantasy, psychological thrillers and historical fiction novels.
On my channel I do haul videos as well as monthly wrap-ups that include mini-reviews of everything I read. Additionally I post specific reviews on books I find are worth special mention, rant about the big disappointments I occasionally encounter or do fun tags and other book-related things.
Not all my videos revolve around books (even though that is my main focus)!
I love learning new languages and have also shared my language learning journey as well as tips & tricks that have worked well for me in the past. My mother tongue is German but I also speak fluent English, decent Japanese and a little bit of both French and Spanish.
Since I also LOVE to travel and learn about different people and cultures I like sharing these experiences on my channel as well! I've done vlogs as well as travel diaries of my most memorable trips, such as my exchange year in Japan and my most recent adventure - a road trip through Iceland!
If any or all of the above sound interesting to you, please follow me here on Steemit and head over to my Youtube page to subscribe! My favourite aspect of being on the Internet and talking about the things I love is that it's not just me sitting there talking to thin air, but the interaction I get with all of you guys! I love discussing my passions with those who share them, so don't hesitate and join the party! :D

Welcome, Theresa. Books are a great way to 'mentally travel', aren't they? It's so great to lose yourself in a really good one.
Your travels sound fun. How did you enjoy staying in Japan?
Thanks! That's very true - when I'm reading an amazing book the rest of the world just fades away ;) I loved Japan! It's a truly wonderful country, I can't wait to go back :D
looks promising :)

As a fresh steemian it can be hard to increase your steem power so you should try out @MinnowPowerUp where you can earn up to 30% more steem power than just powering up through steemit! It's a subscription based daily upvote bot that draws its power from a delegation pool. I compiled this post to explain the system in more depth and share my own experience in earning wupvotes for over $1 a day.
