Such a great story - and so original. I love that she's doing it because her obsessive love of books - I can certainly relate to that need to hoard certain books (I collect old Austen's - though always legally obtained!!) - I also love that feeling of hers that you convey so well - the fact that this act of stealing had started out feeling so wrong and risky to her, and as time has gone on, it has normalised. I wonder if that is something that happens a lot to regular thieves?! Also - brilliant ending- couldn't have been more perfect. Take her back to square one and set her off again! Thanks for such an enjoyable read.
