Reasons why a lot of books are not bestsellers

A bestseller is a book that has sold in large numbers.
A lot of authors painstakingly undergo a thorough research to be able to write good books, but at the end of the day, after going through a lot of stress and spending a lot of money, unfortunately, only a few are able to make their books best sellers.
This could be due to some factors. Check them out
The title of the book
A lot of books are not selling because of their titles. It should be noted that a lot of readers judge a book by the title. Therefore if the title of the book is not catchy enough, then it would not attract many people.

The way the book is packaged
The design on the front cover of the book is a major determinant on if people are going to buy it or not. In line with that, it should be noted that if the book has a poor design, a lot of people would be repelled by it.
The kind of advert done
The publicity, marketing, and distribution of the book is very important.
It should be noted that if you are a new writer without any form of popularity or someone to sponsor you, if you want your book to become a bestseller, then you need to try different advert platforms like the television, online advert and the radio.
That would give you more visibility.
Note that if you cannot afford cannot afford advertising online and through the radio and television, then you should try the billboards and banner.
Note that you can even advertise in your church, schools and you can also do the oral advertisement to your friends and acquaintances.

The target audience
Your target audience matter a lot as they are the set of people that are likely to buy your books and read them.
In line with that, it should be noted that if you write a book and your target audience consist of those that don't read, then it is likely that no matter the research you make, you would not become a successful writer.
For example, if you are a Nigerian writer and you write a book for the mothers-in-law, it is likely the book would not be a bestseller since most mothers don't read.

Lols!....its good you know what your audience want so you don't bore them with what you want.
Tnx dear for stopping by. Hope to always ser you around my blog.
Happy Sunday
Yeah, you are right here. But most books rarely get read by those it addresses, but by those who find it interesting
Right, but then, it would be a great idea to consider all the factors before writing for more people to have the opportunity to read
Sure, no wahala, thanks for visiting
I can't agree more! I'm sure this author appreciates any exposure! The truth of the matter is the unknown writer may write excellent information but get lost in the shuffle of the massive market.
Your points are well thought. Research and take time to appeal to your reader. If you are writing to write, then do it, but exposure is your main job. Good advise.
Thanks so much for visiting. I really appreciate it
