About That Kiss: Heartbreaker Bay Book by Jill Shalvis/ review
When the wood artist Kylie Masters loses a loved one, she hires Joe Malone the laconic man of mystery, with whom he recently shared a kiss sexy-to help you find it.
Kylie is not sure why he pulled Joe in the alley to kiss him; she is unique. The will. Never. To Happen. Again. Joe works in the same building where Kylie has his workshop. He had been "special ops and still had most of their abilities, skills that you use in your work in a research and company values up." She wants to avoid the man who makes your hormones go, refusing to end up like her mother, who likes the bad guys, but never manages to find relationships that are stuck. However, when she discovers that her precious sculpture of penguins, a gift from his grandfather, is being held hostage until she performs a task illegal of the mysterious statue-Napper, she hires Joe to find the criminal and the object.
As the two-way down on the list of suspects, Joe wants Kylie to stay, but she is determined to be in action, the torque setting for the final conflict they have to overcome to be together. Shalvis brings his signature style to another Heartbreaker Bay novel and satisfying on many levels. However, light and darkness, with unrest sit down together, for example, the criminal Taking funny photos of the penguins in dangerous situations, which seems more appropriate for a game of a real crime. In addition, Kylie insists on compare Joe to his mother's boyfriends typical despite all the signs that he is different, as well as the vagueness of the theme of "Men are simple and stupid enough to the woman who was docile and civilize", wears a little thin.
But strangely typical Shalvis with mismatched content.
