The Perfect Yacht?
Hey everyone have you ever considered buying a yacht? I never thought I would say this, but to date no, however this last holiday changed all of that.
So this one looks a little dodgy inside right?? That's because it is lol. Pre renovation I guess this is to be expected as my mate purchased it to fix up and sell.
I am told brand new yachts even need work it's a tireless endless job of maintenance as the sea and sea air is very destructive naturally as the result of salt rusting everything, the sun bleaching everything and the barnacles, muscles and clams that attach themselves on the hull.
You get two types if yachtsmen according to Captain Cook at this yacht club.. the chaps who anchor up in the Harbour via a chain. You then get the rich chaps that attach their boats to the Mooring which are named the 'lavender boys' for whichever reason unknown to me, but rather humorous all the same.
Interesting story one of the neighbour's has a parrot permanently on board, swears like a sailor though rather funny. Many folks also have dogs on board. Not sure however where they do their business.
South Africans love to braai and off the edge of many yachts a nice BBQ 'ocean style nothing beats it.
Maybe I should just buy a Porsche instead;)
Be blessed and have a magic week.
Cheer$;)
