Titan Race post-review notes: not ideal for three players

Titan Race

This is a short update on my original review here, so if you want to know about the game I recommend reading that.

So, on the topic of the update, after playing this evening with a couple of friends, I have to say that the game is not too good for three players. We still had some fun, and you can play it if you really want to or don't have another alternative, but I think it's the "weakest", least fun way of playing it.

To elaborate a bit, after playing with different groups and amounts of people, I feel like the game is more fun the more titans you have on the board, and three players means only three titans. With this amount of players you can spend a lot of time with little to no interaction, which is where most of the fun moments happen, and the dice rules felt kind of unfair for the second player, since both first and last get to roll all the dice.

I think even with two players (where you have 4 titans in total) is more fun, and we will probably try to play with similar custom rules next time, so each player has a two titan team, and see how that goes. I will let you know our opinion if and when that happens.

As always, I hope you find the article useful, any feedback is appreciated, and please let me know if you have played and agree/disagree with my opinion :)

Good to know. I've still not had the opportunity to play, but I'll keep this in mind. I'd imagine giving everyone 2 titans would help quite a lot, based on your previous review.

Definitely! I think having six titans on the board will make the game a bit longer but a lot crazier, so overall it should be more fun. I'll let you know if we try it next time :D
