Yup. the auto rebuild cost was as high as the 5 speed swap and only a margin less work.

I couldn't find a used auto cheap enough and reliable enough to keep it auto, so 5 speed it went. So far so good, but really pain in the ass having to constantly order parts and bushings that I didn't realize I needed.
