I just followed you and really hope to see some pictures of the E30. What engine does it have?
Never owned a BMW simply because I can't afford one, but if cryptos are mooning this year I will probably buy an E46 330 Ci. Ideal would be an E46 M3, but it's a bit too expansive and I assume maintenance is also.
On the E30 on the other hand I guess is more about mechanics that electric compared with the new generations.

It's a bone stock 325i. I've got pics all over my page and some new ones just a few minutes ago! The e30 is an expensive car for its age. But in the grand scheme, it's very easy to work on. It's just thst it's a 30 year old car. Im not a fan of new bmw cars. Too expensive for my blood for little gain.
