New mics, old techniques!

We're celebrating the work of esteemed electrical engineer Alan Blumlein. Incredible to think the work he did in the 1920s is still so relevant today. Inventor of the Mid/Side technique so used in modern music production.

We salute you Mr Blumlein and we're recording using your Blumlein technique with a matched pair of Cascade Fathead ribbon mics :)
